When taking pictures today I realized I had a ton I needed to upload and post about.
1) Juicy Lucy is 4 months old!
We love this little girl so much. She is mostly happy (unless I wait too long to feed her or someone else tries to hold her, haha!). She is reaching for toys and constantly has something in her mouth- toys, clothes, her fingers, etc. She is soooo drooly. She soaks her clothes as well as those of anyone who holds her. She is rolling over front to back. She sleeps pretty well at night. She usually goes down around 9 and then might wake up around 3 or 4 to eat, and then will sleep again til around 8. Most nights she might wake up but if I lay her next to me she will go right back to sleep without nursing. She still isn't sleeping in her room, but that's mostly out of laziness on my part. Whatever. Sometimes you just do what you've got to do. The girls are still constantly in her face, but Lucy mostly loves it. It comes in handy when I am trying to finish cooking dinner and need someone to distract her.
2) Ward Campout
It usually takes me a while to really love the ward we're in. Mostly because I am not one to go out and introduce myself to people so it takes me a while to really find my place. But now that we have been here for four years I love, love, love our ward. This weekend we had a ward campout and had a great time. There was a lot going on this weekend with building cleanings, Eagle Scout projects, etc., so not everyone came, but despite all that there was still a great turnout. The girls had so much fun running around and having dirt fights with all the kids. I had a great time sitting around playing cards with some ladies (and YW). Everyone kept asking if I was planning on staying the night with Lucy. I was planning on it. I figured if I needed to leave with her we were only 5 minutes from home so I wasn't too worried about it. Well wouldn't you know that it wasn't even Lucy that woke up crying? Joey woke up at 2:30 am and after many failed attempts to get her to stop I finally brought her home at 3 am. Again, not a big deal since we were so close to home, but I was so surprised because she never wakes up at night and she has slept in a tent before and done well. Oh well. Still a great time and we can't wait for the next one.

3) Mother's Day
I had a fabulous Mother's Day today. Shelby woke up early on her own and made me toast and a card. Church was great and then I got to come home and take a much needed nap. Then Jeremy cooked a great dinner- steaks, loaded potato casserole, salad, and corn on the cob, with cake for dessert. It was all so good! They gave me flowers and chocolates and cards (oh my!), and then we topped off the night with a good ol' dance party. It was really great. I am so lucky to be the mother of three smart, beautiful, funny girls, and lucky to have a wonderful husband to parent with.

| Oh yeah- I finally got a haircut yesterday and the lady totally botched my side bangs. You can see how choppy it is here. Whatever, they'll grow out. But annoying when you pay $$$ for a haircut and it gets botched! |

| Apparently this is his new favorite face for pictures. |
