Great Weekend

We have had such a great weekend.  Last night we went to some friends' house for a bbq and hung out til like 10 pm.  It is so nice to hang out with other families and just joke around and goof off.  Today we were up bright and early and headed over to another friend's house for a day of playing.  These friends have an amazing house on the lake.  I am in love with their backyard.  Shelby was in heaven, too, as they have their own private little beach area.  We played for a little bit and the kids went out on the paddle boat, and then we all went out on the big boat.  I wasn't sure if Shelby was going to want to actually swim in the lake, but she did and she loved it.  And Joey was loving being on the boat.  She was just smiling the whole time.  I wish I had brought the camera with me on the boat, but I was afraid I'd drop it in the lake.  After boating we headed inside for lunch and then the kids played for another 2 hours.  Joey took an almost three hour nap when we got home.  She was exhausted!  What a fun weekend!
