Jeremy and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary on Friday. When we found out back in April/May that Kings of Leon was playing in Dallas on our anniversary we knew that was how we were going to celebrate. The concert started out great...Band of Horses opened up and they were really good. Then Kings of Leon came on and things were...off. Caleb started complaining right off the bat that his voice was gone and people kept bringing him cold towels to put around his neck. About 40 minutes into the show he said he had to take a break, but that they'd come back out and finished. After 20 or so minutes of waiting some of the other band mates came out and said they would not be coming back out. The whole thing was weird. Later, Jared tweeted that there were things "other than dehydration" going on. They also canceled their Houston show the following day. There is all sorts of speculation now that the band is breaking up, etc. We did read a statement that the band is coming back September 21 and they will honor our ticket then. That's a Wednesday, so not sure if that will work out or not. Who knows? There might not even be a band by then. Which would suck.

Despite all that, we did have a good night. On Saturday we met some friends at Copelands in Southlake for our annual Copelands meal (we ate there on our wedding day, so it's our tradition to go every year specifically for our anniversary). Arleigh is a living doll. I wish we lived closer to her so our girls could play together!
Happy 11 years, Jeremy! I love you!
P.S. Sorry for all the cell phone pics. I didn't have a real camera with me all weekend.

Happy anniversary! That's so weird about the concert though... never can trust rockers I guess. And thanks for checking out my new blog. :)
I am a horrible mother! I totally forgot that was your anniversary. With everything else going on (Tristan, Ana, baby, company) I just let it slip. Happy, Happy Anniversary to a very sweet couple of kids!
