Yep! After much debate, we decided to just get it done. Shelby cried for about 2 minutes tops. I think that was mostly because Jeremy was holding her head still and she did not like that. As soon as it was over I picked her up and showed her something shiny and she was just fine. She hasn't once touched her ears signaling that they hurt. So I am glad I had it done now, when I can take care of them, and when she won't remember the actual piercing. My mom and dad are upset about it and say she should have the choice of whether or not she wants a hole in her body, but we could say the same thing for circumcision so we won't even go there! At least if she doesn't want them later on in life all she has to do is take them out and let them grow in.

Oh, SO cute!! I love little girls with pierced ears. She looks darling! And good luck with the closing on your house. I can only imagine how stressful it must be. But we will really, really miss you guys!!
Good call on the ears. I remember going to get my ears pierced back in the day where they didn't have the good stuff that numbs you ear like they have nowadays. I was all excited about the whole thing until after they did the first ear and then I cried bloody murder. The next ear they practically had to sit on me and to this day I think the holes are a little off. Like you said, she can decide if she wants them later and the holes close up after not using them for a while so she'll be fine. Plus she looks like a doll. I love the bow too and her blue eyes are gorgeous. She is so precious Aidan!
I got my ears pierced as a baby. The great thing about is they have NEVER ever closed up on me. Even as a kid. You don't have to worry about a 10 year-old not taking care of the new peircing and getting it infected.
Its really cute!!!
