First Trip To The Zoo
Well, technically her second, since she went to the zoo on New Year's Eve with the Matern's. But this was Shelby's first trip to the zoo with the intent to see all the animals. I thought she would really enjoy it because she squeals in delight every time she sees Roxy (our dog). I think she couldn't quite get close enough to the animals to really enjoy them, but it was a nice day at the zoo nonetheless. We even made sure to see the cougar...just for Mom and Dad.

Oh, we LOVE the zoo! And let me tell you that now that you have a little one, you'll be making many a trips to the zoo! So, I'm sure this definitely wasn't her last trip... :)
I always have to visit the Cougar too - one of my favorites. I want to take Peyton to the zoo - we have a membership, but I couldn't get Tom and Brian out of the house today. I love the pictures of Shelby! You are such a wonderful mother - and I always knew Jeremy would make a great father! Sherrie

I was going to ask if you got a membership, but then realized that would be pointless to get now! Our Audobon membership was my favorite thing about living in Louisiana (besides being near family). We loved going to the zoo and aquarium.
it looks like shelby had a lot of fun at the zoo! claire's playgroup is going to the aquarium on thursday without us! the ticket is only $3.50 for members of the group and we never became members! :(
