Saturday morning we got up early and headed down the road to the Freedom Fest. I look forward to this every year because I just love small town parades. This year's was slightly disappointing though. Maybe tons of people were traveling or something, but there was very little parade participation. There are usually tons of kids on bikes and golf carts, but there was hardly anyone this year. Oh well. The girls still had a good time (except that Joey was not feeling great, so she was in the stroller or carried most of the time).

| We stood in line for what seemed like an hour to get faces painted. It seriously took the girl 15 minutes to paint a star on Shelby. Sigh. Joey got Spiderman on her face. |

| Lucy gives the best kisses. I love that she will grab your face and pull you in so you get the most slobber. |
