Birthday/Father's Day

Thursday afternoon, as I was winding down with work and we were getting ready to go out for my birthday dinner, I got a call from my brother, Tristan, who said they'd like to come up and visit for the weekend before he leaves for Afghanistan.  It was a great birthday surprise!  I am glad we got to spend the weekend together and the girls had a great time with their cousins!

Jeremy is the best dad.  He loves his girls more than anything and would do anything for us.  I was really worried about leaving Lucy Friday night to go to Girls Camp, but right after I left he texted me and said, "I got this."  He then texted me pictures of her drinking her bottle and sleeping throughout the night just to assure me that she wasn't dying.  I am so thankful to have a loving husband and father of our children.  (I'm also thankful he chose Mexican as his meal of choice tonight, and that I found a great Chuy's creamy jalapeno copycat recipe.)
