Tres

We are happy to FINALLY announce we are expecting BABY #3!

I say finally because we have basically known since day 1 and it has been killing me to not be able to write about it.  Our families and some people at church already knew, but I had to wait until I was far enough along (10 weeks now...I figured it was close enough to 12, right?) and had my appointment to make sure everything was ok before I told people at work.  I finally had my appointment on Tuesday and got to see our little Sour Patch Kid and my doctor said everything looks great!

So far morning sickness has been far worse than I ever had it with Shelby or Joey.  I am also tired ALL THE TIME.  Girls Camp and our trip to UT were a bit of a challenge, but I was able to make it through ok, so that's all that matters.  Hopefully the morning sickness will taper off soon.  I haven't really had any cravings but I definitely have had some food aversions.  If you know me, you know I have the worst sweet tooth.  However lately I have not wanted anything sweet.  When I drink Ginger Ale to try and help ease the morning sickness, even that is too sweet sometimes.  I also don't really want anything heavy or fried.  Salads and Subway or anything lighter or fresh is what I want (though pasta does sound appealing on occasion).  I guess that's a good thing!

Just like with Joey, I will be starting daily shots of Lovenox in my belly.  I'm not really looking forward to that, but at least I know what to expect.  Last time I didn't really bruise at all, so I am hoping that is the case this time as well.  The only positive of having Factor V while pregnant is that on top of seeing my regular doctor, I also get to see the high risk doctor, which means monthly ultrasounds.  My first appointment with him is set for July 17.  I am super excited because with Joey, he was able to tell me at my first appointment with him at 12 weeks that she would be a girl.  There is a lot of science behind how they can tell so early, and obviously he knows what he is talking about, so I trust him.  So hopefully he will be able to tell us on the 17th if we are having a boy or girl!  (Shelby told us she wants a boy so that daddy won't feel left out.)

Congrats! I feel your pain on the shots, they're not fun. Excited to find out if the baby will be a boy or girl, but either way, you guys have adorable kids!
