If I have seemed absent from blogging, emailing, or just being a decent friend or family member lately, it is with good reason. We have been waist deep in house hunting. While it may seem fun and exciting at first, it gets old pretty quickly. And by the time you've made your SEVENTH offer on a house, you are about ready to call it quits. But, our perseverance paid off, and our offer was just accepted! We know that we were truly blessed, because this house has everything we were looking for- we didn't have to compromise on a thing! So even though I was getting irritated, I know that Heavenly Father was just helping us find the perfect house. And here it is:
The wheels in my head have already been turning thinking of all the projects I want to do, how to decorate, etc. My sister introduced me to this blog, www.theletteredcottage.blogspot.com, full of awesome decorating and remodeling ideas. I foresee many trips to Home Depot in the future.
Update: Sorry! Forgot to mention this is in Oak Point (north of Lewisville Lake). So, while it isn't
TOO far away, we definitely won't be in the same ward anymore. Ok, so the only negative thing I can say about the house is that our new ward meets at 1 pm. WHAT?! :(

Yeah for a new house! It looks like it has plenty of room for Shelby to run wild and explore. Congratulations!
I loved having church at 1 p.m. I could sleep in, take my time getting ready, and then come home to a meal from the crock pot. Of course, that was when I lived in Provo. I'm sure it would be a lot different with Shelby. But next year you should be on a better schedule. I wish there were houses like that in the price range you got it for around here.
YAYYYY! Oh my gosh, I love it. I want it for myself. :) Seriously, congratulations, that is awesome news! And yeah, church at 1 is the pits. You missed out on that fun here. Ugh! So excited for your house, it's gorgeous!

YEAH!!! So glad they finally accepted an offer. I know you have to be excited. Oh, we got a 30 second phone call from Alex tonight. Said that was all she was allowed. She was almost in tears, spend 20 of those seconds on the phone with Peyton. Love you. Give Shelby a kiss for me.

Yeah, we got spoiled in N.O. with the 9 o clock church. We always have one o clock out here and it is so hard on the kids, and me!

Our ward here met at 1pm last year. It was rough on nap time! I think we own a portion of home depot at this point! congratulations!
Congrats on the new house! When are you moving? You will definitely have to have a house warming/Wii party and invite us (ha,ha). What are we going to do without Shelby around to drool over? She gives us hope that one day we'll have a cutie, too.
