FRUSTRATED

Ahhhhh! I am not the best housekeeper in the world, but the one thing I cannot do is go to bed with a sink full of dirty dishes. Well, of course, on the night that I cook our first big meal in the house, the sink backs up, and I have not only a dishwasher full of dirty dishes (and water!), but the sink is full as well. And it's not just like cups and bowls...I made roast and mashed potatoes, so I have pots and pans and the crockpot just sitting there. So gross. And you know how the starch from the potatoes crusts onto the pot. That will be fun to clean.

I hate this house. I mean, it is better than being in an apartment. But this is the THIRD time in two weeks that we have had to call the landlord to have the plumber come out. Our landlord is such a moron. If he had just invested the money and done things the right way the first time, he wouldn't be spending his money now on a plumber every other day.

The other thing I am frustrated about is the layout of this house. There is absolutely no storage. And el cheapo landlord did things so crappy, cause he thought he could just fix up the house cosmetically and make a quick buck, that it is really not user friendly. When I get a chance, I will post a pic of the lovely drawers that don't open all the way because the oven is blocking them. Keep in mind these are the only drawers in the kitchen, so I have no choice but to use them and have the drawer ram into the oven each time I open it.

Uggghhhh....I just have to keep telling myself that at least I am not being woken up at 4 am to the sound of people doing the dirty, or at least I don't have to call the police because I can hear the neighbors beating their young child within an inch of his life (yep, had both of those neighbors before).

Oh man... that sucks. I'm sorry Aidan. Well at least you're only renting for now and you'll know to look for these things that you might not have checked out when you and Jordan go house hunting for your own home. That is really annoying- especially when you can't get anything done until a plumber comes to fix it. I hope things get better for you soon. We miss you!

I'm sorry. I feel your pain, I do, I do. We have always had kindof LAZY landlords. One day, we will all hopefully not have to rent ever again. DREAMS
